About

Hi, Welcome to my blog. I am Kanupriya, a marketing professional based out of India. After working in brand / marketing management roles for some big brands, now I’ve moved to an entertainment e-tailing start-up. I currently head the product there and its fun to work for entertainment category esp. after working for serious categories like IT and consumer durable.

I’ve been blogging about my general interest and marketing on O3 and wordpress for more than 6 years now and I find blogging to be an excellent medium of self expression. It feels good to have answers of my so many WHYs, WHATs, WHENs etc. over here. Of late I am observing lots of technical glitches on O3 and hence decided to create this another space on wordpress. While I will continue writing my general posts on my earlier blogs, I will write my marketing & internet industry related posts on this URL now. Thanks for visiting my page and do drop in a comment if you find the topic to be of your interest. You can read my earlier blog posts at http://mixedexpressions.blogspot.com/. Apart from writing on my personal space, I’m also a core team member and regular author at Pluggd.in. In case you want to get in touch with me, drop me an email at contactenvisage-at-yahoo-dot-co-dot-in

  5. Hi,

I liked your blog, especially stuff around marketing techniques used in bollywood. I guess more on this topic will be highly enlightening as we dont see much on this in news.

  6. Hi Kanupriya,
I see you wrote about women in gaming a while back. You wrote that numbers were expected to double by 2010. Great time for a followup right? I’ve got a perfect story for you about Trina Schwimmer, founder of GamingAngels.com, one of the most successful female gaming sites out there. In fact, Trina was recently named one of “The Most Influential Women in Technology” by Fast Company magazine. Send me an email if you’d like more on the story. Thanks!

  10. Hi Kanupriya,

I’m lucky to have stumbled upon your blog! Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Rahul and i’m one of the people behind the movement to ‘Bring the BQC Back’. You can see the entire movement here – http://www.facebook.com/bringbqcback

We started off about 2 months ago and we’ve been floored by the kind of response we’ve gotten with almost a 100,000 people wanting BQC Back. It started off as something simple – an experiment of sorts. We love quizzing and just wanted to see how many people do as well so we started this page out.

We would love for you to write an article for us on our movement!
We will link the same with our facebook page.
Do get back to us on bringbqcback@gmail.com

    Thanks,
    Rahul

  11. Dear Kanupriya,

My name is Shilpi Gupta and I have been a part of the marketing industry for over five years now. However, I’ve spent most of my time on the agency end working on various FMCG/Consumer Durable brands.

I’m now keen on making a switch to movie marketing and would want to get some guidance on the same. Would really appreciate if I could write to you on this specifically.

Kindly let me know where and how to contact you.

    Thanks,
    Shilpi Gupta
